DishwasherHero+ serves restaurants, hotels and resorts, catering companies, stadiums and venues, senior living facilities, country clubs, and any hospitality or food service business that requires back-of-house kitchen staff. How do I book a dishwasher or kitchen professional?

Log into your DishwasherHero+ account and select 'Book Staff.' Choose your location, date, start time, shift duration, and the role you need — dishwasher, line cook, prep cook, banquet server, or any of our 11 available positions. Submit your booking and our platform will match you with a qualified, available professional for your shift.

How much notice do I need to give?

DishwasherHero+ offers same-day staffing in most cities depending on location and demand. For best results — especially for large events or multiple positions — booking 24–48 hours in advance increases your confirmation rate. For planned seasonal events, booking 72+ hours in advance is recommended.

Can I request a specific worker I've used before?

Yes. If you have worked with a DishwasherHero+ professional and want to rebook them, you can request them through the platform. Preferred worker requests are matched based on their availability for your shift.

What if no worker is available for my shift?

Accepted Answer

If we cannot fulfil your booking, you will be notified through the platform and by SMS. In most major cities, our network is large enough to fulfil same-day requests. Contact support at +1-888-601-1615 if you have an urgent need and cannot find availability through the platform.

When am I charged?

Accepted Answer

You are only charged after a shift is completed and hours are confirmed. DishwasherHero+ does not charge upfront for bookings. A pre-authorisation hold may be placed on your payment method at booking to verify funds, but no charge occurs until hours are validated.

How are hours confirmed?

Accepted Answer

After each shift, you will receive a notification to confirm the worker's hours. Review the start time, end time, and any break periods, then approve. Once approved, payment is processed automatically. If you have a query about hours, contact our support team before confirming.

How are workers vetted?

Accepted Answer

Every worker on the DishwasherHero+ platform has passed a reference check, identity verification, and in many cities a criminal background check before their first shift. We require a minimum of two years of commercial kitchen experience for all workers. Workers are rated after every shift — those who consistently underperform are removed from the platform.

Are workers employees or contractors?

Accepted Answer

All DishwasherHero+ workers are W-2 employees in the United States and T4 employees in Canada. They are not independent contractors or 1099 workers. DishwasherHero+ handles all payroll, tax withholding, and workers' compensation — you have no employment compliance obligations for the staff we provide.
