Event Staffing Agencies in Las Vegas

Las Vegas event staffing is a convention market before it is anything else. The city hosts some of the largest trade shows in North America — CES in January, World of Concrete in the same quarter, MAGIC and the NAB Show in spring — and demand for temporary staff spikes hard around those weeks rather than spreading evenly across the year. An agency that can field forty people on a random Tuesday in September may not be able to field twelve during CES, and rates move accordingly.

    15 firms screened · 8 met the criteria · last reviewed 2026-08-15

That seasonality shapes who you should call. Most firms marketing event staffing in Las Vegas are staffing the guest-facing side of a show: registration desks, badge scanning, booth hosts, attendee flow, brand ambassadors. Fewer are staffing the operation behind the catering — the dish pit, prep line, porters and banquet back-of-house that a 2,000-cover gala or a convention centre catering contract actually runs on. Those are different labour pools with different lead times, and the second one is usually the constraint.

Venue access matters too. The Las Vegas Convention Center operates an approved-vendor process, and several firms below market that status explicitly. Union considerations apply at a number of Strip properties and at the convention centre for certain classifications of work, so confirm with your venue which roles are covered by an agreement before you contract labour — that answer changes which agencies can legally staff your event, not just which ones want to.

The comparison below covers eight firms with a published Las Vegas offer on their own website. It names who is a local agency, who is a national account and who is a marketplace, because those are different buying experiences even when the job description looks the same.

    How this list was built

We screened 15 firms; 8 met the inclusion criteria.

We started from fifteen firms surfaced by searching for event, catering, convention and hospitality staffing in Las Vegas. Every claim on this page had to be verifiable on the firm's own website — directory listings, marketplaces and review sites were not accepted as a source for a firm's own claims. Firms whose Las Vegas offer turned out to be promotional modelling or brand ambassadors only, and firms with no Las Vegas-specific service page on their own domain, were excluded from the main list. Eight firms met the bar. They are ordered by how squarely their published offer matches event staffing in Las Vegas, not by any score, and we publish no ratings or review counts. DishwasherHero is one of the firms operating in this market, so treat this as a comparison written by a participant: we say where we fit and, just as plainly, where we do not.

National marketplaces and national staffing firms are included here, and labelled as such. A Las Vegas buyer's real options include national players, and a comparison that hid them would be less useful. Where a firm is a marketplace rather than an agency, or a national account rather than a local team, its card says so.

Two firms in this comparison publish W-2 classification for their staff: Kinetic Events Staffing and DishwasherHero. GCG Event Partners describes a freelancer model and Instawork operates as a self-serve marketplace. For the remaining firms we could not verify employment classification, because they do not publish it. That is a limit of what is on the public record, not a finding about how those firms operate — ask them directly if classification matters to your procurement.

Last reviewed 2026-08-15. Every record is re-verified at least every 90 days. We publish no scores, star ratings or review counts.

Where DishwasherHero fits in Las Vegas

DishwasherHero staffs back-of-house only in Las Vegas: dishwashers, kitchen porters, prep cooks, line cooks, general cleaning and banquet BOH support. We do not staff registration desks, booth hosts, brand ambassadors or bartenders, and several firms above are a better call if that is your need.

Our staff are W-2 employees. Kinetic Events Staffing publishes the same classification for its field teams, so this is a shared position in this market rather than a point of difference — it matters if your procurement requires employer-of-record status, and it is irrelevant if it does not.

The case for calling us is narrow and specific: a caterer, hotel or convention-centre food operation that has front-of-house covered and cannot staff the kitchen behind it, particularly during a peak convention week when the local BOH pool is already committed.

Catering staffing agencies in Las Vegas

Catering work in Las Vegas splits cleanly between the service side and the kitchen side. Banquet servers, captains and bartenders are widely available through the guest-services firms listed above, and through Instawork if you would rather fill shifts yourself. The kitchen side — dish pit, prep, plating support, porters — is the part caterers routinely struggle to cover, because the same people are being pulled by hotel and casino F&B departments during the same weeks.

If you are staffing a catered event, book the kitchen roles first. Service staff can be sourced closer to the date; a dish team on a 1,500-cover gala cannot, and a short dish pit stalls plating within the first hour of service.

Convention and trade show staffing in Las Vegas

Convention staffing is the deepest part of this market. ATN Event Staffing, Kinetic Events Staffing, Eleven8 Events and AVE Events all publish convention-specific Las Vegas offers, and Eleven8 names the specific shows its teams work. Confirm approved-vendor status for your venue before contracting: the Las Vegas Convention Center's process is a real gate, not a formality, and Kinetic publishes that status directly.

For set-up and tear-down labour specifically, AVE Events is the only firm in this comparison publishing that alongside booth-facing roles, which can save you contracting two suppliers for a single show.

Hotel and casino banquet staffing in Las Vegas

Hotels, resorts and casinos buy staffing differently from event organisers. The need is usually a standing department gap — housekeeping, stewarding, banquet BOH — running for months, not a single date. Hospitality Staffing Solutions is the firm here built for that shape of work, publishing temp-to-hire, direct hire and full department outsourcing from a Las Vegas office.

If your requirement is a recurring banquet kitchen crew rather than a one-off event team, say so on the first call. Agencies price and schedule ongoing department coverage very differently from event-day labour.

    Las Vegas event staffing FAQ

Outside convention weeks, most firms here will quote on a few days' notice and some will fill same-week. During CES, World of Concrete, MAGIC and the NAB Show, treat four to six weeks as the working minimum for anything over twenty people, and longer for back-of-house kitchen roles, which are the first to run out locally.

Need back-of-house staff in Las Vegas?

If your kitchen is the gap, tell us the dates and the roles and we'll come back with availability. If it isn't, one of the firms above is the better call.
